Taipan - Makake
The latest music video I co-directed with Radis Beurre is out ! It is for french rapper Taipan, so apologies if you don’t understand, and believe me, you’re missing out. Radok shot the live-action, and I did the VFX and grade.  It is really a two men job on this one, so we are pretty happy with the result. Enjoy in HD on Youtube

The Elaborate End of Robert Ebb
I’ve had the chance to help a bit on this amazing short movie my friends Clement Bolla, Fx Goby and Mathieu Landour directed together.  I’ve seen it at the Aubin Cinema for a private screening last week, it is absolutely awesome.  Enjoy the teaser for now, and I sure will post a link to the full movie as soon as they put it up.

The Amazing World of Gumball
Not much update lately, but there is a good reason (kind of). I’ve joined the amazing crew of the “Amazing World of Gumball” as a background artist for Season 2 of this AMAZING show (3x amazingness). So I guess it’s going to be a bit quiet in here for a while, unless…hum…we’ll see. Anyway, Season 1 is airing worldwide, check it out, and wait forward...

Audi - A day in the Life of an Audi Driver
The previous stereotest wasn’t completely innocent… I’ve had the chance to be CG/Comp supervisor on this amazing Audi spot. Starring Audi Team Leader Alan McNish, as described by Creative Review, “it gives a real insight into the physical endurance required to be a Le Mans driver”. Directed by Chris Hemming at Passion Pictures, the ad is two-and-a-half minutes in...

Stereo Test for Passion Pictures
This is just a quick stereo test I’ve done with Quentin Vien at Passion Pictures for a job you’ll hear about soon enough on this blog..!  First attempt, with a rather simple setup (ie two iphones and a fair amount of rubber bands), but it’s already quite cool i think. Enjoy in HD on Youtube with your Red-Cyan glasses on !

Just have a look at their website, and wish you were in Paris right the f*** now, to go to their exhibition at the Surprise Gallerie. Our graphics were projected on a set of 17 massive screens all around the amazing venue in Beijing (including ceilling !). The team produced around 25 minutes of animation and live footages, approximatively twice the size of a football pitch. EDIT 1 : The event has...

Harmonix Dance Central - Intro and Outro
Last November, Harmonix released their new Kinect Dance video-game called “Dance Central”. I worked on the Intro and Outro of the game, both directed by the outrageously talented and underated Rob Valley. I worked on the scene where the background had to be processed in CG, like the train, skateboard, or car shots. Enjoy in HD on Vimeo (more info and images after the break). ...

Super 8 Memories
About a year ago, while digging in my grandfather’s attic, I found an old Super8 projector and an old bag full of films my great-grandfather had shot from 1959 to 1970. The projector turned out to be working perfectly, and I discovered that some of the footages were of my dad when he was around 5 years old…while some others were actually the last images of my great-grandfather, who...

This has pretty much nothing to do with animation or illustration, but i kind of felt like my website wouldn’t really be complete if i didn’t show you my record collection. New York Trip - Visual tour of NYC
I made this video when i was in New-York, in April 2010, and posted it on Facebook. Audi - Unboxed
I just finished working on this beautiful project for Audi, again at Passion Pictures ! In “Unboxed”, a 2D animated character unfolds a carboard box to reveal Audi’s new model, the Q5. The difficulty on this job was of course to make the cardboard look as real as it gets, by adding as much small-scaled details we could. This marks the first time I’ve worked under...
